Summary of Specifications:
Dutchess County seeks a proposal from an independent expert to evaluate the Dutchess County Criminal Justice Council's Criminal Justice System Needs Assessment. The proposer(s) must consider the intention of Dutchess County to realize a safe, secure, modern jail facility that is operated using Direct Supervision philosophy, is staff efficient and accomodates jail operations that advance system-wide efforts to enhance long-term public safety. The proposer(s) must also consider expansion at the current site of the Dutchess County Jail versus the proposal for jail construction at an alternative site, as they accommodate a campus style jail setting at which various services are available at one location.
