RFB-DCP-21-07 - Two (2) All Terrain Vehicles (ATV)

Summary of Specifications:
The County of Dutchess encompasses over 810 square miles of largely rural and suburban land. Many of the rural areas of the county are heavily wooded with varying topography including mountains, hills, valleys, and low lying lands. Many of these areas are not easily accessible by a traditional vehicle, which inhibits the efforts of law enforcement and emergency rescue personnel. Therefore, it would be extremely beneficial for the Dutchess County Sheriff's office to continue the use of All Terrain Vehicles (ATV's) to provide countywide police & emergency rescue services to these remote areas.
