Dutchess County Department of Health currently holds an operating certificate from the New York State Department of Health, Office of Health Systems Management for a Certified Home Health Agency (CHHA). This Certificate authorizes our CHHA to serve patients within the geographic service area of Dutchess County. The CHHA operating certificate has been in place since 1970 and has been updated in 1985 and 2003. The CHHA currently provides skilled nursing, physical therapy, occupational therapy, speech therapy-language pathology, home health aide services, medical social services and medical supplies, equipment and appliances to medically eligible homebound residents of Dutchess County. Dutchess County is located approx 75 miles north of New York City and has a population of approx 295,000. Interested proposers must demonstrate detailed knowledge and experience in the delivery of quality home health care, fiscal competence and an ability to secure all required state and federal approvals within a reasonable timeframe. No sale will be complete without required approvals.
