Summary of Specifications:
Dutchess County in the State of New York is requesting proposals from qualified providers of electric retail energy supply with NYISO Zone G of the Central Hudson Gas & Electric franchise. The goal of the County is to reduce its overall electric energy supply cost creating a financial benefit in addition to the Central Hudson back out credit applied to retail access customer accounts. Dutchess County falls within the franchise areas of two electric utilities, Central Hudson Gas & Electric and New York State Electric & Gas. However, over 99% of the energy supplied is provided through the Central Hudson system and as such the proposal request will deal exclusively with the Central Hudson franchise.
