RFP-DCP-40-07 - Professional Auditing Services

Summary of Specifications:
Dutchess County is requesting proposals from nationally recognized Certified Public Accounting Firms with experience in New York State to audit its financial statements for the fiscal years ending December 31, 2007 through December 31, 2009 with two additional single year extensions at Dutchess County's option. These audits are to be performed in accordance with generally accepted auditing standards, the standards set forth for financial audits in the General Accounting Office's (GAO) Government Auditing Standards (2007), the provisions of the federal Single Audit Act of 1984 as amended and U.S. Office of Management and Budget (OMB) Circular A-133, Audits of State and Local Governments as well as the current Government Accounting Standards Board (GASB) requirements. The Single Audit is to be filed with the appropriate Federal and State Agencies and the New York State Comptroller.
