RFP-DCP-58-13 - Orthophotography & Photogrammetric Update of Planimetric Features

Summary of Specifications:
Dutchess County, New York is requesting proposals from qualified photogrammetric firms experienced in aerial imagery, orthophotography, LIDAR, and in the production of planimetric databases. To maintain the utility of its 100-scale (1” = 100’) digital basemap, the County anticipates contracting with one or more firms to acquire new spring-2014 (leaf off) photography, create new one-half (0.5-ft) pixel resolution orthophotography, and update the County’s planimetric structures, road edges, parking lots, sidewalks, and cross walks from the new imagery. In addition, the County would like the option of obtaining a bare earth Digital Elevation Model to replace the current DEM developed in 2000. We are also considering obtaining a Digital Surface Model (DSM) to visualize and capture building shapes and heights. The County is only interested in responses that result in the outright County ownership of all data.
