RFP-DCP-1-11 - Non-Secure Detention Services for Youth

Summary of Specifications:
Dutchess County is required to take reasonable steps to provide conveniently accessible and adequate Non-Secure Detention Services (NSD) care. Department of Social Services is the Dutchess County Department responsible for the administration of juvenile detention services for eligible youth residing within Dutchess County. DSS may contract with public or non-profit youth caring agencies to operate NSD facilities, pursuant to applicable statutes and regulations, and upon certification by OCFS. The County is seeking proposals from qualified not-for-profit organizations to provide NSD services for the County. These services consist of short-term supportive residential care for juveniles awaiting court processing in accordance with provisions of the New York State (NYS) Family Court Act and regulations of the NYS Office of Children and Family Services.
