Summary of Specifications:
The Poughkeepsie-Dutchess County Transportation Council (PDCTC) is the designated Metropolitan Planning Organization (MPO) charged with carrying out federal requirements for cooperative transportation planning and programming for the Poughkeepsie-Dutchess County metropolitan area. The PDCTC participates with the other eleven MPOs in New York State in a statewide MPO association (NYSMPO). One of the shared-cost initiatives identified by New York State's MPO Association and agreed to by the individual MPOs through inclusion in their respective Unified Planning Work Programs (UPWPs) involves the development of a training program for MPO staff in the use of ESRI's ArcView 8 GIS software.
