Summary of Specifications:
The County of Dutchess is seeking employee benefit consulting services in the area of health insurance. The County's health insurance options include a self insurance traditional, indemnity plan, as well as three health maintenance organizations. As the cost of providing health insurance continues to escalate, the County seeks to determine if it makes economic and programmatic sense to continue the self insured plan as is or is there a more cost effective alternative to provide these benefits without significantly decreasing the benefit levels.
