RFP-260 - Water Meter Modernization Project

Summary of Specifications:
The Corporation of the City of Yonkers (the “City”) is requesting Technical and Cost Proposals to select a Vendor or Vendors to provide all consulting, labor, equipment, materials,software, and such other services as necessary to furnish and install an automated water meter infrastructure system, as well as water meter replacement. Through the water meter modernization program that we envision, our systems will be upgraded with state of the art technologies enabling the City to bill customers for water consumption based on actual meter readings, eliminate estimated readings, identify water losses and establish mass transfer data to determine percentage of unaccounted water losses. Vendors are encouraged to consider this during the development and submission of proposals.
