Teh City of Yonkers requires the restoration of the Carriage Gate Located at the City's Untermyer Park. It is the intent of Historic Preservation to restore - not duplicate, in as much as that is possible. an exception, would be taken when the structural integrity might be comprimised, then that would take priority. However, it is to be done in a manner that is sympathetic to and compatible with the original design.
