RFP-219 - Towing and Impound Services

Summary of Specifications:
The City (www.yonkersny.gov ) is soliciting sealed proposals to establish a contract through competitive negotiation with qualified towing contractors to provide Towing and Impound Services for the Yonkers Police Department and the Yonkers Parking Violations Bureau. To be considered qualified, contractors must be on the Yonkers Police Department emergency roster. Contractors must have the following business certificates and submit copies with their proposals: New York State Itinerant Vehicle Collectors or Vehicle Dismantlers license and New York State Dealers License. To be eligible for award, Proposers must agree to pay the City a fixed fee for each vehicle towed and impounded during the contract term of 24-months. The minimum fee shall be $100.
