RFB-en-5216 Towing - Towing Services for City of Yonkers Vehicles

Summary of Specifications:
This bid is to provide towing service for inoperable, owned and leased vehicles over a 24-month period, and may be extended for an additional 12-month period at the same unit prices, terms and conditions, and delivery requirements as the original contract. Vehicles operated by the bidder shall meet the following requirements: Weight Class 1 & 2: shall have a least two (2) tow trucks with wheel lifts and one (1) flat bed truck for cars, pickups and vans. Weight Class 3, 4, 5, & 6: must have at least one (1) heavy-duty tow truck with a wheel/axle lift and towing sling. Weight Class 7 & 8: must have at least one (1) heavy-duty tow truck with a wheel /axle lift and towing sling for towing fire service vehicles, refuse and roll-off trucks. Bidder to provide tow service and licensed drivers to handle requests 24-hours a day, 7-days a week, 365-days a year regardless of weather. Bidder to be able to respond within 30 minutes of notification.
