Description

The City of Yonkers (COY) is seeking proposals for telecommunications services (Cell Phones, Hotspots, and Tablets). The awarded contract for these services will cover a five year period.
The City has determined that it is in their best interest to pursue vendors who can provide the following:

Complete citywide coverage and superior nationwide coverage for voice and data services, including email, voicemail, call waiting and call forwarding, GPS navigation, Internet, and SMS/MMS text messaging.

Lowest cost in the marketplace for the services provided.
Superior customer service (24x7x365)
Service Level Agreements (SLAs) that guarantee the City will have a vendor that will enable it to achieve its day-to-day business objectives and commitment to its residents.

Consideration will be given to plans that include free mobile-to-mobile minutes, free caller ID blocking, free or inexpensive phone upgrades on an annual basis, and international roaming, calling, and data packages that are included in the plan offerings.

The City will not accept any products that the Federal Government considers to pose a security threat to national communications networks.
