Summary of Specifications:
Three month contract to furnish all labor, materials, equipment, and services which may include, but is not limited to the following: furnish & install new concrete footings with steel reinforcement rods, new steel columns, and new steel beams, in the existing basement and crawl space of Fire Station 4. Perform at least five soil bearing capacity tests and two soil density tests prior to pouring concrete footings. Concrete testing will be performed by the owner. Chain drag the entire existing concrete apparatus floor, and repair at least 300 square feet of the concrete apparatus floor. Furnish and install a new Unitex (or equal) Pro-Poxy waterproof coating on the entire existing apparatus floor, approximately 1200 square feet. Provide a new 10’ 6” x 2’ 6” x 4” concrete pad on the existing apparatus floor. Remove and dispose the approximately 60 existing steel lockers on the apparatus floor, and furnish and install 58 new Penco (or equal) All-Welded 24”x24”x72” single tier lockers with sloped tops and one extra hook per locker, mounted on the door exterior. The work shall be coordinated with the Fire Department to allow one of the two bays to remain operational during the work, since the fire station will remain in operation during this project. All debris and construction materials shall be removed upon completion of this project.
