Summary of Specifications:
Laboratory Service Contract for the USEPA D/DBP Rule Disinfectants & Disinfection Byproduct Rule The City of Yonkers requires the services of an outside laboratory to assist in the compliance monitoring requirements of the USEPA Stage 1 Disinfectants and Disinfection Byproducts Rule. Laboratory must use approved analytical methods promulgated in the Rule (section 141.131). Furthermore, the laboratory must be certified for TTHM’s and HAA5’s in the State of New York. TTHM Analytical Methods: EPA method 502.2, 524.2 or 551.1 HAA5 Analytical Methods: EPA Method 552.1, 552.2 or SM 19 6251B See attached detailed specification and copy of service contract.
