RFB-5157 - Install and Supply Emergency Equipment for Police Vehicles

Summary of Specifications:
It is the intention of the City of Yonkers to contract with a vendor for a thirty six month contract to supply and install specified emergency equipment in addition to YPD supplied emergency equipment and YPD supplied graphics on model year 2006 or newer Ford Crown Victoria Police Interceptor marked patrol vehicle(s), and model year 2006 or newer Chevrolet Impala “9C3” unmarked patrol vehicle(s). It is anticipated that a minimum of 20 Ford CVPI marked patrol vehicles and 17 Chevrolet Impala (9C3) unmarked patrol vehicles will be up-fitted in the first year (2006) of this contract. Note this contract will not be limited to the vehicles described above. It will be at the discretion of the City’s Y.P.D. Fleet to add additional types of vehicles to this contract.
