Summary of Specifications:
The City of Yonkers has millions of paper documents that by law must be retained and archived. Many of these records are used on a daily basis by city personnel, title searchers, residents and other interested parties. It is the goal of the city to reduce the physical storage of these documents while increasing accurate access, secure access while complying with New York State records retention requirements. 

The city expects that document imaging will be an ongoing effort spanning the next five years. Scanning projects will be given to the vendor to complete as they are identified and funding is available. The bids you will be supplying will span this five year life cycle.
