The West Wing of the Hudson River Museum is a proposed addition to the west side of the existing Hudson River Museum located at 511 Warburton Avenue, Yonkers NY 10701.
The West Wing will contain approximately 10,500 gross square feet on three floors of about 3,500 gross square each: Lower Level, Middle Level, Upper Level, and with minor renovation work proposed in the existing Hudson River Museum building.

Changing Exhibitions Gallery and Art Storage Vault will have a conservation environment connected to an emergency power generator. A large freight elevator will serve the three floors. The structure of the West Wing is precast concrete plank flooring, perimeter load bearing concrete masonry units, and an interior line of steel columns. Exterior cladding is made of insulated painted metal panels.

Plumbing and Electrical Contractors
All Plumbing and Electrical Contractors engaged on this project must be licensed by Westchester County (914-995-2000). Licensing information can be obtained at: http://consumer.westchestergov.com/trades/plumbers-and-electricians
This will be a single prime vendor contract for all required trades subject to the provisions of a Project Lablor Agreement prepared by the Building and Construction Trades Council of Westchester and Putnam Counties New York (“the Council”). The successful bidder is required to execute three copies of the PLA which shall be submitted to the Council for final execution.
The use of a PLA allows the City to waive the Wicks Law requiring separate contracts for 1) plumbing and gas fitting, 2) steam heating, hot water heating, ventilating and air conditioning apparatus, and 3) electrical wiring and standard illuminating fixtures.
However, in order to be responsive and eligible for award, bidders must submit a sealed list, with their bid, naming each subcontractor for the aforementioned trades and the amount to be paid to each (Sealed Subcontractor forms are included with the bid). Failure to include these forms in a separate sealed envelope with your bid shall render your bid non-responsive and ineligible for award.
