PROJECT ESTIMATE: $1,296,770.00

CONTRACT TYPE: This is a UNIT PRICE contract.

PROJECT SUMMARY: This Project consists of the improvements to Carter Street/North Street between Nash Street - Norton Street and Portland Ave. - Norton St.The scope of work consists of Milling and Overlay of the streets within the project limits, including upgrades to curb ramps not meeting ADA guidelines, hazardous concrete sidewalk replacement, adjustments or replacements of catch basin frames and grates and sewer manhole frames and covers, restoration of all disturbed lawn areas with topsoil and seed.
The Project includes (1) Bid Add Alternate that consists of the replacement of all lead, lead-lined and galvanized water services on Carter and North Street and installation of Cathodic protection test stations.

REQUIREMENTS:

This Contract Contains NEW Minority and Woman Business (M/WBE) Enterprise Requirements and Workforce Goals
This Contract Contains an Incentive Program for Employing Qualified City Residents
This Contract Contains Apprenticeship Training Requirements for Bids that Exceed $250,000.00

Sealed Bids are to be submitted in hard copy to the Office of the Purchasing Agent, City Hall, Room 105-A, Rochester, NY 14614 prior to the closing date and time, after which all bids properly received will be opened, read and recorded.
