PROJECT ESTIMATE:  $1,600,000.00
 
CONTRACT TYPE:  This is a UNIT PRICE contract.

PROJECT SUMMARY:  This project consists of the Preventive Maintenance improvements to Upper Falls Boulevard from Genesee to Hudson Avenue; and St. Paul Street from Gorham Street to Lowell Street in the City of Rochester, Monroe County.
The scope of the work consists of milling and resurfacing of asphalt pavement with spot base repair, curb repair, sidewalk repair and updates to comply with ADA standards.  Also included are repairs and adjustments to drainage basins, sewer, and water castings; and upgraded signing and pavement markings including bicycle accommodations along St. Paul Street, and Upper Falls Boulevard east of Joseph Avenue.  Surface drainage and ride quality will be improved which will help preserve existing investment within the pavement structure. 

REQUIREMENTS:  This is a Locally Administered Federal Aid Project and contains Disadvantaged Business Enterprise (DBE) Utilization Goals.
This Contract Contains an Incentive Program for Employing Qualified City Residents.

Sealed Bids are to be submitted in hard copy to the Office of the Purchasing Agent, City Hall, Room 105-A, Rochester, NY 14614 prior to the closing date and time, after which all bids properly received will be opened, read and recorded.
 
Bids shall be submitted only on the complete Proposal on the form provided by the City. Bids must be submitted in hard copy on the Proposal. Electronic bid submittals through BidNet will not be accepted.
