This infrastructure is funded in part by Title 15 of the Environmental Protection Fund through the NYS Department of Environmental Conservation. This project will include the installation of a new EV Charging Station for the City of Kingston, at Dietz Stadium. The City of Kingston has already procured the unit and has the unit in possession. The installation site at Dietz Stadium was designed and built EV ready with a pull box already set in place. See Dietz Stadium Electrical with EVCS Location Map, Attachment 1, for the exact site location for installation. The Project Manager for this work is the City’s Sustainability Project Manager, Julie Noble, in collaboration with Parks and Recreation and DPW staff as appropriate. Dietz Stadium is located 3/4 mile off of the NYS Thruway Exit 19 and has ample public access. The new system will be open to the public for use 365 days per year, dawn until dusk daily. The public stadium is under the management of the Parks and Recreation Department, who will oversee proper use and maintenance of the new infrastructure.
The scope of work for this project is installation of a ChargePoint: CT4021-GW1 Dual Output Gateway North America, Bollard Unit-208-240V@30A with Cord Management. The Contractor shall provide the necessary labor, construction equipment, materials, etc., as required for the successful completion of the project. All work shall conform to the Project Specifications and all applicable local, state and federal codes and regulations
