The Lincoln Park Learning Garden Project involves three Prime Contracts (General Construction, Plumbing
Construction, and Electrical Construction) for which architectural and engineering design have been completed.
The Plumbing Construction contract will only be required if the General Construction Add-Alternate #1 is
awarded.
The project includes providing all labor, materials, machinery, tools, equipment and other means of
construction to install a natural park area within the City of Albany’s Lincoln Park. The construction of the park
area involves, but is not limited to, the following work: minor tree clearing and site demolition, earth moving
and grading, construction of a constructed wetlands area and green infrastructure features, construction of
stormwater capture and conveyance infrastructure, construction of various park amenities, construction of an
outdoor classroom area with restroom and storage enclosure, site electrical work, site landscaping work, and
associated site restoration work within the park area and along Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. Boulevard.
The Work is to be substantially completed by October 31, 2025.
