RFP 2025-18 - Focused Deterrence Support & Outreach Services for City of Albany Police Dept.

The City of Albany (hereinafter referred to as the “CITY”) hereby requests Proposals from qualified firms or individuals to provide Focused Deterrence Support and Outreach Services for the Albany Police Department (“APD”) on an as-needed and non-exclusive basis.  

The CITY is seeking an interested and qualified community-based organization to collaborate with the CITY in providing Focused Deterrence Support and Outreach Services to be available to provide outreach, assessment, on-going case management and service referral for individuals, residents of the CITY, and those who attend the Group Violence Intervention Call-ins.

The CITY’s award of the ensuing contract is contingent upon the CITY’s receipt and acceptance of grant funds through the Gun Involved Violence Elimination (“GIVE”) Initiative through the New York State Division of Criminal Justice Services (NY DCJS).
