Acting as lead agent for the Capital District Waste Partnership Planning Unit, the City of Albany (hereinafter referred to as the “CITY”) hereby requests Proposals from qualified firms or individuals to provide Collection and Disposal of Household Hazardous Waste (“HHW”) services on an as-needed and non-exclusive basis, for the CITY and participating member communities of the Capital District Waste Partnership Planning Unit. 1.2 The ensuing contract for the services contemplated by this Request for Proposals (“RFP”) shall be effective on or about March 1, 2022. SECTION 2: RECEIPT OF PROPOSALS: 2.1 Proposers may submit Proposals by mail, hand delivery, or electronically via BidNetDirect.com no later than February 18, 2022 at 2:00 pm. If a Proposer chooses to submit a Proposal by mail or hand delivery, then four (4) copies of the Proposal must be received in a sealed envelope marked “Proposal Enclosed – RFP 2022-05 Collection and Disposal of Household Hazardous Waste Services” at the address below. If a Proposal is more than 20 pages in length, please provide an electronic version of the Proposal, for example, on a flash drive or compact disc (CD).
