This Project includes the final design, bidding and construction engineering services
for the construction of Parallel Taxiway ‘A’, Phase II and Stub Taxiway ‘E’ at the
Elmira Corning Regional Airport.
The construction of the new parallel taxiway and connector Taxiways will include
the excavation of earth material, installation of new pavement sections, grading and
drainage improvements, relocation of existing FAA facilities, installation of edge
lights, airfield guidance signs, and other ancillary electrical work. Upon completion
of paving in all work areas, new reflectorized pavement markings will be installed.
The ECRA Taxiway A Phase 1 construction project includes constructing a separate
portion of Taxiway A, as well as other work and will be progressed concurrently
with the work included in this contract.
