RFP-2015-123 - MOTHERS IN RECOVERY PROGRAM

Summary of Specifications:
The Broome County Department of Social Services (BCDSS) is seeking proposals from Eligible Organizations for the delivery of services that include residential and clinical care to women who recently gave birth to a newborn testing positive for opiates (including methadone, suboxone or other replacement drug prescribed by a treating physician during pregnancy) who are in need of substantial social habilitation or rehabilitation, development of support systems and assistance in the development of life skills to become abstinent from mood altering substances. Services include housing in a supportive and highly structured, recovery oriented community, individual and group therapy, addiction education and relapse prevention, case management, parenting classes and support and trauma treatment.
