RFP-2016-100 - CREATING COMPLETE STREETS POLICIES

The Broome County Health Department has received a Creating Healthy Schools and Communities grant from the New York State Department of Health (DOH) to promote wellness and prevent obesity in four high need school districts in Broome County: Binghamton, Deposit, Harpursville, and Johnson City. The grant funds, to be expended over a five-year period, will be utilized to help increase access to healthy foods and opportunities for physical activity within these school districts and the communities where the students and their families live.
