Summary of Specifications:
The County of Albany is seeking proposals for the provision of Respite Services for youth and their families, as requested by Albany County Department for Children, Youth and Families (DCYF). Albany County is requesting proposals to provide a range of respite services with the focus of preventing children from out of home placement, supporting positive youth development, and improving family functioning. The range of respite services sought includes crisis respite, crisis andor planned overnight, and on-going respite for youth and their families. The youth in need of such respite services may have special needs related to abuse or neglect, mental health issues, substance abuse, chronic medical issues, behavioral issues and/or historical criminal behavior.
