RFP-2011-050 - NYS OMH Supported Housing Beds

Summary of Specifications:
The Albany County Department of Mental Health has been allocated eighteen (18) new adult Supported Housing Beds from the New York State Office of Mental Health. In calendar year 2011 there will be $9,284 for each of the eighteen (18) beds, some of which can be used for “start up” costs. Annualized funding per bed (Rental Assistance and Community Services) is $9,284. Please see Exhibit “A”, letter from NYS Office of Mental Health, for further information. The Albany County Department of Mental Health will seek to distribute these beds through a Request for Proposal Process. Albany County is fortunate to have a wide array of housing providers, a number of which have capacity and possible interest in opening the new Supported Housing beds. An RFP will ensure that the provider offering the highest quality proposal is awarded the beds.
