Summary of Specifications:
The County of Albany is seeking proposals for the provision of In Home Contact and Support services for senior residents of Albany County as requested by the Albany County Department for Aging 

In Home Contact and Support Services for isolated and home bound senior residents of Albany County include: 

A. Friendly Visiting - organized visits by staff or volunteers to provide socialization, recreation, and the opportunity to observe and report the client’s condition and circumstances. B. Shopping assistance - assistance in obtaining food, medicine or other necessities. This entails either shopping for or the personal accompaniment of a senior to retail establishments. 

C. Telephone reassurance - an organized service involving scheduled telephone contacts with seniors who are isolated or homebound.
