Summary of Specifications:
The Albany County Department of Public Works is requesting bids for Hearter Scarification of Existing Asphalt Pavement. Bids will not be on the website because there are drawings included in this document. Plans and specifications can be picked up at the Albany County Purchasing Department, 112 State Street, Room 940, Albany, NY 12207. Bids shall be accompanied by a certified check in the sum of ($10, 000.00) ten thousand dollars in United States Currency, drawn upon by a National or State Bank or trust company, to the order of the Director of Finance, Albany County, or a bond with sufficient sureties in a penal sum equal to ($10,000.00). Bid Security shall be included with bid at the time of Bid opening or bid shall be rejected as materially incomplete. A separate Performance Bond, or its equivalent, equal to $200,000.00 two hundred thousand and 00/100 dollars, shall be required by the Successful Bidder, and the bond shall be satisfactory to the County Attorney.
