RFP-50011432 - Health Insurance Administrator/ Insurer

Summary of Specifications:
The County of Albany is requesting proposals from third party administrators and insurance companies to provide claims adjudication, customer service, and medical provider network services for the County's consolidated, self-funded medical benefits plan. 

The County wishes to receive proposals for the administration of a single self-funded health insurance plan. This would include either a self-funded approach, such as minimum premium insurance, or a self-insured option via an administrative services only contract. The County wishes to evaluate both insured and self-insured options, and respondents may propose on either or both approaches.
