RFP-2010-076 - Engineering Services North & South Plant Sludge Pump Replacement

Summary of Specifications:
The Albany County Sewer District owns and operates two treatment plants designated the North Plant, 1 Canal Road South, Menands, NY 12204 and the South Plant, Church Street, Port of Albany, Albany, NY 12201. The District has a total of twenty-one (21) sludge transfer pumps between both sites. This project will include a two phase engineering approach. The first phase will evaluate existing equipment, prioritize replacement, selection of appropriate pumping equipment, focusing on energy efficiency including energy efficient motors and variable speed drives where appropriate. The 2nd phase, will be implementation including final design, contract administration and construction management.
