Summary of Specifications:
To date in 2008, the Albany County Department for Aging has issued two Requests for Proposals to award federal III-E funding: RFP #80946772, Elder Caregiver Support (received July 11, 2008), and RFP #81286772 Elder Caregiver Grandparenting (received August 8, 2008). After making awards pursuant to these Requests for Proposals, federal funds remain to be awarded under the III-E Caregiver program. Through this RFP the County seeks to contract for additional elder caregiver support programs; specifically programs which enhance and/or expand existing caregiver programs or create new programs which shall serve regions currently lacking and/or deficient.
