Summary of Specifications:
The purpose of this Invitation for Bid is to provide all labor, equipment, and materials necessary to construct a concrete slab and to furnish and construct a turn-key pre-engineered metal building at the Chaves County Adult Detention Center, located at 3701 S. Atkinson Ave., Roswell, NM 88203. The building shall be constructed at the rear of the detention center on the adjacent North side of the existing portable storage building. The work of the contract shall be to design and prepare building permit drawings and construction of an 20' x 40' x 10' metal building, to include foundation, concrete slab, electrical, plumbing and some interior work to include an interior wall, shelving and benches. The facility will be used as a shop facility for the maintenance staff and for misc. warehousing and storage. Trim shall be standard with grey colored roof and walls. The Contractor shall quote separate price options for site/pad preparation on bid form. The County will be responsible for provision of electrical service.
