Summary of Specifications:
Morris County is soliciting proposals from professional organizations whose primary business is the provision of on-site physician services for patients in our newly established sub acute care unit at the Morris View Healthcare Facility. The Facility is a single complex located on West Hanover Avenue in Morris Township, New Jersey.
The Morris View Healthcare Center is a 283 bed skilled nursing facility owned and operated by the County of Morris. Within a single connected complex there are five skilled long term care units and one sub-acute care unit. That unit, which opened in February 2012, currently operates fifteen (15) beds on the second floor of the complex. In addition to the fifteen (15) private rooms the unit maintains one occupational and one physical therapy room. The average daily unit census over the past six months has been 12 beds.
A site inspection has been scheduled for Thursday, April 18th, 2013 at 11:00 a.m. only, and will convene in the lobby of the Morris View Healthcare Facility, 540 West Hanover Avenue, Morris Plains, New Jersey.
The term of awarded contract shall run for twelve (12) consecutive months, from August 1st, 2013 through July 31st, 2014. Contract may be renewed for additional 12 month terms, by mutual agreement between the County of Morris and the Contractor, for a period not exceeding 24 additional months.
