Summary of Specifications:
The County of Morris is soliciting proposals from Professional Mechanical/Engineering Consultants, licensed to practice in the State of New Jersey, to provide design and construction administration for replacement of the existing boiler plant at the Morris County Court House with a more energy efficient heating system. The Morris County Court House is located on Washington Street, Morristown, New Jersey.
The scope of the project will consist of replacement of the existing boiler plant with a new energy efficient design as well as demolition of the existing system.
The Consultant shall, for the benefit of the County, monitor all phases and aspects of the construction to ensure conformance to the contract drawings and specifications and advise the County with regard to the same. Such services shall include special attention to, and strict monitoring of, the areas of the project’s schedule, budget, and conformance to contract drawings and specifications.
Since funds for this project are supplied through the Federal Government Energy Efficiency Block Grant (EECBG) program the successful consultant is required to obtain, or already have, a Dun and Bradstreet Data Universal Numbering System (DUNS) number, obtained at http://fedgov.dnb.com/webform and be registered in the Central Contractor Registration (CCR) System at www.ccr.gov/.
