Summary of Specifications:
The County of Morris is soliciting proposals from Professional Dietary Services Companies to provide a broad range of Dietary services for various divisions within the Department of Human Services, County of Morris, New Jersey.
Proposals are being solicited through a fair and open process in accordance with N.J.S.A. 19:44A-20.1, et seq.
Vendor will be selected by a committee on an evaluation of the most advantageous proposal, price, and other factors. Proposals will be evaluated on the basis of the following criteria:
1. Vendor’s professional qualifications and experience.
2. Understanding of project scope of work, appropriateness of work proposed in task description and guidelines. Vendor’s added value applied to the project. 3. Prior experience and familiarity with similar projects in size and scope 4. Cost/Fee Proposal
The following Divisions of the Department are to be provided Dietary services, as set forth in this specification:
• Youth Shelter Division – client meals and groceries • Detention Facility Division – client meals and groceries • Aging, Disability and Veteran’s Division - client meals and groceries for the Nutrition Project, including Meals on Wheels and Advisory Council meetings. • Morris View Healthcare Facility Division – resident meals, snacks & groceries /staff and visitor meals, main cafeteria, on site vending services, on site and off site catering services, coffee shop, Head Start Children’s Program, Adult Day Care Facility.
