LEGAL NOTICE
Separate sealed bids will be received by the Purchasing Agent of the County of Morris in the Office of Purchasing, Room 517, fifth floor, Administration & Records Building, Court Street, Morristown, New Jersey August 21, 2019 at 10:00 a.m. prevailing time, for the respective project as follow:

Bids and RFPs are available for downloading from http://www.morriscountybidsystem.com/, or may be picked up on or after Monday, July 22, 2019 from the Division of Engineering and Transportation, located in the Administration & Records Building, 10 Court Street, 2nd Floor, Morristown, New Jersey, 07963, between the hours of 8:30 AM-4:30 PM. Payment of Fees is by check or money order for a non-refundable fee of $50; made payable to “County of Morris”, with Bid Number and Name in memo section of check. The County of Morris shall not be responsible for full or partial sets of Contract Documents, including addenda, obtained from any other source.
A PRE-BID SITE VISIT is scheduled for Tuesday, July 30, 2019, at 10:00 AM, beginning at the Railroad crossing near the intersection of Berkshire Valley Road and West Dewey Ave. Your attendance is HIGHLY RECOMMENDED.
Bids must be enclosed in a sealed envelope bearing the name and address of the bidder, and the Bid number and title spelled out on the outermost packaging, addressed to the Purchasing Agent of the County of Morris.
Surety in the form of a Bid Bond, Certified Check or Cashier’s Check in the amount of 10% of the total bid, but not to exceed $20,000 must accompany each bid, made payable to the COUNTY OF MORRIS.
Bid proposals shall be by delivery or mail, on the date and time above. No bids shall be accepted after the designated time, and Morris County will not assume responsibility for bids forwarded by mail or delivery service, nor any other conveyance.
The successful Bidder will be required to furnish a Performance Bond, Payment Bond and Maintenance Bond as specified in the Contract Documents. EACH BID MUST BE ACCOMPANIED WITH A CONSENT OF SURETY which states that the surety company will provide the Bidder with the performance bond specified in the Contract Documents in the event the Bidder is awarded the Contract.
Bidders are required to comply with the requirements of N.J.S.A. 10:5-31 et seq. and N.J.A.C. 17:27.
Bid and Proposal requests herein are solicited through a fair and open process, pursuant to N.J.S.A. 19:44A-20.4 et seq. The vendor shall maintain all documentation related to products, transactions or services under this contract for a period of five years from the date of final payment. Such records shall be made available to the New Jersey Office of the State Comptroller upon request.
