RFB-S10-004 - Prev Maint &Repairs for Emergency Generators & UPS Battery Backup

Summary of Specifications:
Through this Request for Bids (RFB), the Wayne County Airport Authority (Airport Authority) hereby invites businesses that meet the qualifications set forth herein to submit bids to provide preventative maintenance inspections and corrective repairs for emergency generators and an Uninterrupted Power Service (UPS) battery back-up at Detroit Metropolitan Wayne County Airport (Metro Airport). 

GENERAL INFORMATION: The Airport Authority has and is responsible for approximately 25 emergency back-up generators installed at various locations throughout Metro Airport. Standby portable generator units are dedicated for use on an as needed, where needed basis. These units must be maintained/serviced on a regular basis in order to ensure proper operation when called upon to provide back-up power to continue critical airport operations in the event of main power loss or other like scenario. The UPS battery back-up is located in de-ice Bldg. #532 and is in need of initial repair/replacement of existing components and placed on a preventative maintenance schedule thereafter.
