Description

INTRODUCTION/GENERAL INFORMATIONS:  Through this Request for Bids (RFB), the Wayne County Airport Authority (Airport Authority) hereby invites businesses that meet the qualifications set forth herein to submit Bids for on-call, as-needed pump rental, related-equipment, parts, and services to facilitate various projects for the Detroit Metropolitan Wayne County Airport (Metro) and Willow Run Airport (Willow Run). Non-emergency and emergency pumping services are occasionally needed at Metro and Willow Run Airports to manage stormwater and other types of liquids. These services may be needed to address emergency issues such as pump failure, or to address incidents that require pumping large quantities of water or other materials. Services are also needed on a regular, planned basis to maintain the numerous pumps owned by the Airport Authority that are in service throughout the Airports.
The scope of the services of the contract resulting from this RFB will primarily be for equipment rental.  The services associated with the resulting contract are the related installation, removal and maintenance of the equipment.
