Description

Proposals are being solicited for the purpose of contracting for five (5) Multi-Retail concession packages at the McNamara Terminal at Detroit Metropolitan Airport. This phase includes five (5) Retail Packages with a combined total of 15 spaces/locations; however, a Proposer may only be awarded up to two (2) of the three (3) News/Convenience Packages. The contracts will be for a term of ten years with no renewals. The remaining concession units to be bid out for the McNamara Terminal are expected to be solicited in 2024.

A Pre-Proposal Conference concerning this solicitation will be held. If so, the date, time and location are indicated on the Cover Pages of this RFP. Airport Authority staff will be available at this meeting to answer questions about this solicitation. Attendance at the meeting is strongly encouraged for the entities that will be submitting a Proposal that will be signatory on a contract with the Airport Authority for the work contained in this RFP, as well as subcontractors participating on the Proposer’s teams. Those attending the Pre-Proposal Conference are encouraged to bring copies of the solicitation documents to the meeting.

A site tour concerning this RFP will be held. The date, time and location are indicated on the Cover Page. See Page 3 of RFP for information regarding RSVP requirements and submittal of Destination Pass Form. Badged personnel do not need to submit a Destination Pass Form. Persons attending the site tour must submit the Destination Pass form no later than Wednesday, November 15, 2023 by 12:00 PM Eastern Time.
Non-Badged attendees without an approved Destination Pass will not be allowed on the site tour.
