RFP-130027 - DTW Big Blue Deck & McNamara Deck Lighting Upgrade

Summary of Specifications:
INTRODUCTION: Through this Request for Proposals (RFP), the Wayne County Airport Authority (Airport Authority) hereby invites businesses that meet the qualifications set forth herein to submit Proposals for work in the Big Blue Deck consisting of a new LED lighting system with emergency power and for life safety exit signage, and for work in the McNamara Deck consisting of replacing the existing fixtures in the parking areas with LED light fixtures at the Detroit Metropolitan Wayne County Airport. GENERAL INFORMATION: The Airport Authority operates the Big Blue Deck and McNamara Deck. The purpose of this project is to reduce energy and maintenance costs associated with lighting in the parking structures by replacing the existing metal halide light fixtures with energy-efficient LED fixtures, and to improve life safety features in the Big Blue Deck to meet current code requirements consisting of emergency power for the lighting system and emergency exit signs.
