Summary of Specifications:
The Wayne County Airport Authority (Airport Authority), through its Technology Services Division, is interested in obtaining information regarding available standardization and management programs to provide and maintain network capable Digital Multifunction Devices (MFD) and photocopying equipment (copiers) to support copying printing, scanning, and optionally faxing. The program, at a minimum, should include preventative maintenance and subsequent repair service for existing equipment owned by the Airport Authority and all new equipment installed, the purchase and/or lease of new equipment, including the phase out and replacement of obsolete and older equipment, and related support services. The Airport Authority is seeking new and innovative means to provide MFDs, copiers and related support services to its members, which will result in aggregate cost savings to the Airport Authority. Under this RFI, the Airport Authority seeks information regarding various types of available equipment standardization and maintenance program solutions; planned product lifecycle; support services; purchase verses lease options; and a transition plan. The information provided may be used to establish an equipment standard, and may result in a program that is representative of the technologies required to meet the Airport Authority’s needs.
