Tyrone Township Asphalt Maintenance RFP For Parkin Lane Bid Specifications:
Asphalt Repair:
Tyrone Township is seeking asphalt bids for Parkin Lane located in Tyrone Township Fenton, MI. Parkin Lane is a private asphalt road of about one mile in length. The contractor will provide all materials, labor and equipment to complete the work.
General: The following work is requested: • Repair freeze cracks in asphalt road to eliminate further road damage from winter freezing. • Fill the expansion cracks between the concrete section and asphalt (both ends). • Provide a recommendation for the edge of the road just east of address 12240 Parkin Lane. • Provide a detailed statement of work to be performed, number of cracks to be repaired and the recommended solution. • Provide an estimate of the cost for correction. • Explain any warranty offered.
Proof of vehicle liability, general liability and workman’s compensation insurance is required. Tyrone Township is to be named as an additional insured.
Damage during service activities to mail boxes, lawns, sprinkler systems or any other property must be corrected in a reasonable time frame at no cost to Tyrone Township.
Tyrone Township will only accept bids from service providers that have the demonstrated capability, experience and equipment to provide these services. You are encouraged to include references.

To be considered, all bids must be received at the Tyrone Township Hall, 10408 Center Road, Fenton, MI 48430 or via email to clerk@tyronetownship.us by 5:00 pm July 15, 2014.
Bills will be submitted to Tyrone Township for payment.
Tyrone Township reserves the right to reject any or all bids and to cancel the contract should it be deemed to be in the best interest of Tyrone Township.
