Description

The Project consists of constructing a 5040 square foot open air pavilion at Gilcher-Crissman Park with associated concrete pavement, footings, and electrical. The contractor is responsible for jobsite cleanup and for hauling any debris created as a result of the project to an approved disposal facility (assuming Type II Landfill) per the environmental documents dated April 20, 2002, September 23, 2003, February 14, 2025 (attached). This site has been officially recognized as a “facility” in the attached environmental documents so no excavated material can be used offsite and there must be a one-foot clean topsoil cap above any contaminated fill.

Sealed Bids for the Gilcher-Crissman Park Pavilion Project (#20408.01) will be received, by the Washington, Bruce and Romeo Parks and Recreation Commission at the Bruce Township offices at 223 East Gates Street Romeo, MI 48065, until 2:00PM local time on a Bid Opening date of Monday, May 5, 2025, at which time the Bids received will be publicly opened and read. Any Bids received after said Bid Opening date and time will not be valid or opened and will be returned to the Bidder.
