Summary of Specifications:
The purpose of this Request for Proposal" (RFP) is to solicit professional firms (hereinafter called “Contractors”) for detailed proposals to perform the expected work. A quality based selection process will be used for evaluating proposals, whereby the Contractors will be rated on the basis of their responses to the RFP by a Review Committee as one of the contractors most qualified to perform this work.
TESTING, REPAIR AND CALIBRATION SERVICES OFF-SITE Under the direction of authorized WRC staff, contractor shall provide testing, repair, and calibration of water meters ranging in size from 5/8” diameter to 2” diameter based upon AWWA recommendations in the awarded vendor’s place of business. WRC will deliver the meters to vendor for testing, within a 25 mile radius.
TESTING, REPAIR AND CALIBRATION SERVICES ON-SITE Under the direction of authorized WRC staff, contractor shall provide testing, repair, and calibration of water meters greater than 2” in diameter. These meters will be tested onsite per AWWA recommendations
WATER SYSTEM ACCESORIES Contractor will provide water system accessories as identified in Attachment B. Delivery will be within two weeks of order, unless other arrangements are made with WRC.
