ADVERTISEMENT - Ad is also attached LOWER PETTIBONE LAKE SANITARY DRAIN TOWNSHIP OF HIGHLAND, OAKLAND COUNTY, MICHIGAN Sealed proposals will be received by the JIM NASH, OAKLAND COUNTY WATER RESOURCES COMMISSIONER, COUNTY AGENT FOR THE LOWER PETTIBONE LAKE SANITARY DRAIN, Oakland County, Michigan, at the Office of the Oakland County Water Resources Commissioner, Building 95 West, One Public Works Drive, Waterford, Michigan 48328-1907 for the construction of certain drains and structures, including the following approximate quantities: Installation of 16 grinder pump stations (furnished by owner) and abandonment of septic systems, approximately 1,800 linear feet of two-inch diameter directionally drilled HDPE force main, and the construction of an on-site septage treatment and disposal facility. Proposals will be received up to 2:00 p.m., local time, on the date set forth herein at which time all bids will be publicly opened and read. PROPOSAL TO BE RECEIVED: July 22, 2013 Bidders shall review and comply with the Information for Bidders, which are incorporated by reference, and carefully review all Contract Documents, as defined in the Information for Bidders. Bids submitted after the exact time specified for receipt will not be considered. Starting on July 1, 2013, the Drawings and Specifications under which the work will be done will be on file and may be examined at the Office of the Oakland County Water Resources Commissioner at Building 95 West, One Public Works Drive, Waterford, Michigan, the Construction Association of Michigan and Dodge Reports. Copies thereof may be obtained for a non-refundable fee of sixty dollars ($60.00), (Check Only) for each set of Contract Documents and set of plans from the Office of Spalding DeDecker Associates, Inc. located at 905 South Boulevard East, Rochester Hills, MI 48307. A pre-bid meeting is scheduled for July 15, 2013 at 2:00 p.m., local time, at the Office of the Oakland County Water Resources Commissioner, Building 95 West, One Public Works Drive, Waterford, Michigan 48328-1907. All prospective Bidders are requested to attend this meeting. Failure to attend the meeting shall not relieve the Bidder from compliance with all applicable federal and state laws and regulations, including without limitation the Equal Employment and Minority, Small, and Women’s Business Regulations. A certified or cashier's check or bid bond for a sum not less than five percent (5%) of the amount of the proposal will be required for each proposal. The right is reserved by the Owner to accept any proposal, to reject any proposal and to waive irregularities in the proposals.
