Summary of Specifications:
The County of Oakland, Michigan (the County) is a governmental agency. The County publishes this Request for Proposal (RFP) to solicit proposals from qualified consulting firms to provide benefit consulting services for a (3) year period beginning January 1, 2011. Objective: To provide benefit consulting services to the County’s Department of Human Resources for the three year period of the contract. Such services include topics related to both Active Employee and Retiree benefits, which currently include: 1. Medical benefits (for active and retired employees) 2. Prescription drug coverage (active and retired) 3. Dental benefits (active and retired) 4. Vision benefits (active and retired) 5. Short and long term disability benefits (active only) 6. Life and accidental death and dismemberment coverage (active only) 7. Health and Dependent Care Reimbursement Accounts (active only) 8. Paid Time Off and Holiday pay (active only)
